A while back I turned a skirt into a pair of shorts (see post). This time I did the opposite.
This was a whole lot easier.
I basically ripped out the center seam, turned the shorts inside out, and sewed along the dashed lines as shown below:
I cut off the excess and hemmed as necessary. And that was it!

That is so cute! That is one of my new favorite colors, too. Next time I go to the thrift store, I am going to look for some old lady shorts to make into skirts. And I love that it has pockets. So handy!
